Book design for “Fiol” publishing house (Kyiv, Ukraine). The novel, “Strangers in the House” (Sotronni v domi), is a detective story with a distinctive love line. It features some elements of Hebrew culture, such as study of Kabbalah, which defined some of the decorative elements used for design.

Here’s the novel’s annotation:

“Living with strangers, both in the house and in the heart, can be very frustrating. Romantic and reflective young radio host, Jan Reivakh, struggles to cross the borderline separating people. He appeals to music, love and even Kabbalah, yet, unraveling the arcane mystery of human detachment can be both rewarding and disastrous.
